Was it wrong of me to flip out on this guy...help?

So this guy friend of mine and I had been talking for awhile, I sorta developed a crush on him. He is 18 and I am 16 almost 17. Anyways he was talking to me tonight and was like "If we dated how far would you go with me?" and I told him only making out, call me old fashioned all you want but I'm not into any of the other crap my friends are doing. I would like to wait until I am happily married. So he told me god wouldn't hate me for doing "stuff" and I flipped out and told him its not about how god feels about it, its about how I feel! He then continued to say all this B.S. about how my ways are the 1850's etc. I told him to go screw himself, and blocked him on myspace, fb, and his 2 cell phone numbers. Was it wrong of me to do this, or was it the right thing? I have values and it upsets me that he would try to talk me out of them!
