How are we Americans free when we still debate over issues like this?

It is true that we are not truly free. We never really own anything. If you don't pay the government money they will take your house. I understand the principle of registering a car -to pay for use of the roads.Our government as always trying to legislate morality. Gay marriage, abortion,gambling(the only reason this exists is cause they make $$$) They want to keep Americans living a cookie cutter life they have envisioned for you.That way you always have to keep working without the chance to think about how screwed up us working for corporate america is.
